Citizens for Health, a natural health consumer organization, is concerned about
the safety of Splenda, and is accumulating a list of individuals who are
reporting adverse effects. Although these effects have not been verified, they
do provide the basis for further testing. So far there have been over 100
complaints with almost half reporting abdominal pain, bloating, or digestive
disorders. Over one in four report headache, dizziness, or disorientation. We
encourage those who believe they have suffered adverse effects from the use of
Splenda to report these to the Citizens for Health Hotline 1-888 774 CALL.
