For the last
several years, the Idaho
Coalition for Natural Health (ICNH) has fought fervently to protect the
freedoms of the non-licensed natural health care practitioners and all Idaho
citizens who want the freedom to choose natural health care alternatives.
With the landmark passage of the Naturopathic Licensure Act of 2005, the
persistence and passion of the natural health care community and the ICNH
paid off. No other state has a law that gives the natural health care
freedoms and protections that this law provides.
OUR MISSION: Our current mission is
three-fold. We will build and support a strong and extensive
network of both natural health care practitioners and consumers; We
will educate Idaho about natural health care services, products and
legislation; and We will continue to protect and defend our
natural health care freedoms, including the Naturopathic Licensure Act of
2005.
Building a strong and
extensive network of natural health care practitioners and consumers begins
with you. Become a professional member of the ICNH and let us promote you
and your business and help you succeed! Become a consumer member and let us
be your source for finding natural health care options that are available!
Supporting that network comes from ongoing education, marketing and
promotion of our members.
Education through
newsletters, health fairs, business speakers, WING! meetings, ICNH-sponsored
community education classes, the media,
etc. to anyone and everyone interested in natural health care is critical!
The ICNH benefits practitioners and consumers. Education of the entire natural health
care community is a large task and we are continually searching for new and
creative ideas on how this information can be disseminated. Get involved
and help us help you!
Protecting Idaho’s
health care freedoms is an important part of the ICNH mission. The
Naturopathic Licensure Act of 2005 was a huge success for the Idaho natural
health care community. Defending this landmark legislation is
mandatory. We will continue to monitor new and upcoming legislation and
call on the natural health care community for support when necessary.

Membership
fees and dues paid to the Idaho Coalition for Natural Health., a non-profit
corporation, are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. However,
they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
Furthermore, membership fees and dues will be nondeductible to the extent
they are allocable to expenses associated with lobbying expenses. |
